Payment and Cancellation Policy


  • $175 per session
  • A session is generally 55 minutes in length. Longer sessions are charged at a prorated fee.
  • Payment is appreciated at the time of the session.

Insurance and Out-of-Network Coverage

  • Medicare
  • Highmark Premier Blue Shield Preferred Provider
  • Tricare Non-participating provider (you pay out of pocket for services and I provide an
    insurance receipt for which Tricare will pay a portion)
  •  Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal Program
  •  Most “Bluecard” plans – out of PA state Blue Cross Blue Shield plans
  • All other insurance out of network

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health benefits (commonly referred to as behavioral health)?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover:
  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • When does my plan calendar year begin and end (e.g. January to January or September to September)?

For out-of network insurance (which does allow for you to be reimbursed by your plan for a portion of therapy services), full payment is appreciated at the time of the session. I will supply statements/receipts for our sessions that you may use for reimbursement by your insurance company. I am also happy to provide you with an invoice to submit to your healthcare flexible spending account.


Insurance, cash, check, credit card. Co-pays accepted in cash or with checks only.

Cancellation Policy

Please notify me by calling the office at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or change your appointment. Insurance cannot be billed for late cancellation or no-shows. Full session payment ($175) will be charged for missed appointments that are not canceled within this 24-hour advance time frame because appointment times are held exclusively in reserve for the client and can not otherwise be filled or billed to insurance. Appointments that are scheduled for a Monday must be canceled by the previous Friday during business hours. Thank you.
